The following talks are samples of presentations, which we have given so far. If you are interested to have us speak at any kind of event, you can book us as “Soloists” or in combination, all themes can be varied according to your needs, and proposals on subjects not mentioned herein will be gladly considered.

The focus of the talk is placed on the outstanding value of the Female in American Indian spiritual traditions. “The Coming of Age Ceremony” with the Apache, celebrating the sunrise ceremony to honor a young girl’s passage to womanhood, and the significance of “White Painted Woman”, the Deity of Life and Earth, are among the topics of the talk as well as stories of other female spiritual beings with other tribes. We will discuss in depth the significance of “Mother Earth” in the traditions of the indigenous people of this continent and the meaning of “Medicine of the Earth”. “Medicine Talks”: The Grandfathers of Tribal Traditions

Talk with poetry and storytelling With Mario H. Blackwolf and Karen Merveldt Mario Henry Blackwolf, Native historian and philosopher of Mechica-Apache heritage, and Karen Merveldt, German MD and Healer, share their knowledge and experience with you.

The focus of the talk is placed on tribal traditions and the lives of the men in American Indian cultures, as well as the male aspect of American Indian spiritual traditions. The differences between the Native World and the Western Culture regarding the understanding of rites and rituals, their sense and purpose, will be topics, along with stories of male spiritual beings in American Indian truth like Ching’ishnish and Matutuk with Californian tribes, the Peacemaker of the Iroquis and Quetzalcoatl with the Aztecs. In the context of “Medicine of the Earth” we will discuss in depth medical conditions, which are exclusively or predominantly male, including the psychological and spiritual consequences of war. A different outlook on spirituality will arise compared to Western or Eastern traditions, a perspective, which is deeply rooted in matriarch cultures opposed to the patriarch cultural background of today’s world religions. The search for your own vision and your soul’s individual journey, all while living with respect for Life and Mother Earth, related with everything in Creation are today’s latest topics. Yet, ãthe particle and the wave“ of the quantum physicist, ãthe One in Spirit, while being truly individual” of the Western and Eastern mystics have been everybody’s daily life among the American Indian people. The complete “Now”, the lack of separation between a “here” and a “beyond” are the foundation of American Indian spirituality. We will look at known traditional concepts of spirituality as laid out by major world religions, mystic traditions and spiritual teachers, and bring them down to our own personal experience and understanding. Let us look into “Medicine” as understood by the Native cultures throughout history, to understand their spiritual concepts and search ourselves for our own innate understanding of spirituality!
