On my own behalf: No book can be a substitute for living through direct personal experience. The world we live in has become so mental, so overly intellectual, that we have forgotten, what live, direct experience means. This world, too, has become so secure and secured, that we fear nothing more than actually this: to live through direct, personal experience exposed to life in its whole, birth, death and life in between, the tragedy and comedy of human existence.

This booklist contains literature, which I found helpful on my own path, and which I still use or recommend in my work. Some books have unfortunately not (yet) been translated into English.
